• Navigating diagnosis for early childhood and diagnosis within the medical and education systems.

• Accessing early intervention and pre-K services

• Navigating IDEA Act, IEP’s, 504 plans, school services, and knowing differences between public and non-public schools

• Applying for and maneuvering federal or state programs like SSI, OPWDD (NY) and APD (FL)

• Maneuvering and applying for residential education, inpatient care, or out-of-state settings and coordination of care

• Navigating the surrogate court system prior to or following age 18

• Future planning for your loved one (wills, access to state systems, 18+)
